Indian opener Smriti Mandhana has maintained her top position in the latest ICC Women’s ODI batting rankings, reinforcing her status as one of the most consistent performers in international women’s cricket. The International Cricket Council (ICC) released the updated rankings, highlighting Mandhana’s dominance at the top of the order with her elegant stroke play and ability to anchor innings.

Harmanpreet Kaur continues to hold her place at eighth in the ODI batting rankings, remaining steady among the world’s leading batters.

Jemimah Rodrigues Falls to 12th

Indian middle-order batter Jemimah Rodrigues has slipped to 12th place following India’s 0–3 ODI series loss to Australia. Known for her aggressive batting and ability to accelerate the innings, Rodrigues’ recent series performance impacted her ranking points.

New Zealand Stars Shine in ODI Rankings

New Zealand players made significant gains after strong performances against Zimbabwe in their ODI series.

Amelia Kerr impressed with both bat and ball:

  • Claimed four wickets in the first ODI.

  • Followed it with a remarkable seven-wicket haul in Dunedin in the second match, becoming only the seventh player in women’s ODI history to achieve seven or more wickets in a single game.

  • Her efforts elevated her to 11th in the ODI bowlers rankings and 5th in the all-rounders rankings.

Brooke Halliday surged eight places to 11th after scoring a brilliant 157 off 117 balls in the first ODI, while Maddy Green moved up four spots to joint 22nd after scoring 67 runs in the first match and an unbeaten 27 in the second. Their performances helped New Zealand secure a 2–0 lead in the three-match series.

The recent series between Sri Lanka and West Indies also brought notable changes in the Women’s T20I rankings:

  • Hasini Perera jumped 15 places to 28th in batting after an unbeaten half-century in the final match.

  • Imesha Dulani rose 17 places to joint 72nd following an unbeaten 34*.

  • Kavisha Dilhari moved up three spots to 21st among bowlers and two places to 11th among all-rounders.

  • Afy Fletcher climbed four spots to seventh in T20I bowling rankings.
