Description
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has reopened the application portal for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2026 Session 2 following requests from candidates who were unable to complete their registration before the earlier deadline.
According to the latest announcement, the registration window will remain open from the afternoon of March 12, 2026, until 9:00 PM on March 13, 2026. Candidates who complete the form during this period can pay the required examination fee until 11:50 PM on March 13, 2026.
Earlier, the application process for JEE Main 2026 Session 2 was conducted between February 1 and February 25, 2026. After the application period ended, NTA had also provided a short correction facility on February 27 and February 28 to allow applicants to edit certain details in their submitted forms.
However, once the portal closed, the agency received numerous requests from students seeking another opportunity to complete their registrations or submit the application fee. Taking these requests into consideration, NTA decided to reopen the application portal for a brief period.
Steps to apply for JEE Main 2026 Session 2
Candidates can complete the registration process by following these steps:
First visit the official website.
Now click on the lnik on the homepage.
Complete the new registration using basic personal details to create login credentials
Log in and fill out the online application form with the required personal and academic information
Upload scanned copies of the photograph and signature in the prescribed format
Pay the application fee using debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI
Submit the form and download the confirmation page for future reference
