After the UP Board Class 10 and Class 12 examinations, the evaluation of answer sheets begins. The Uttar Pradesh Madhyamik Shiksha Parishad (UPMSP) has introduced several changes this year to make the process more transparent, including online uploading of evaluation marks.

Teachers for evaluation duty are selected through an online appointment system, and a waiting list is also prepared in case additional evaluators are required.

Payment per answer sheet

Teachers involved in evaluation are paid on a per-copy basis:

1. Class 10 answer sheet: around ?14 per copy

2. Class 12 answer sheet: around ?15 per copy

Typically, a teacher can check 45–50 answer sheets per day.

Maximum number of copies assigned

The board has also set limits on how many copies a teacher can evaluate:

1. Class 12 Science: up to 600 copies

2. Class 10 Science: up to 700 copies

3. Arts subjects: up to 800 copies

Teachers are not assigned copies beyond these limits.

Total earnings from evaluation work

If a teacher evaluates the maximum number of answer sheets, they can earn up to around ?10,000–?12,000 as additional remuneration during the evaluation period.
