The National Testing Agency (NTA) will close the registration process for the April session of Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main) 2026 on February 25. Candidates who wish to appear for Session 2 must complete their online application and fee payment through the official website, before the deadline.
This is the final opportunity for students who either did not appear in the January session or want to improve their previous score. The April session examination is scheduled to be held from April 2 to April 9, 2026, in computer-based mode at various centres in India and abroad.
Registration Deadline: February 25
Applicants must ensure that they fill in the form accurately, upload the necessary documents, and submit the examination fee on time. As of now, NTA has not announced any extension of the deadline. Candidates are advised to complete the process early to avoid last-minute technical issues.
Both new applicants and those who appeared in Session 1 are eligible to register. For candidates who take both sessions, the higher of the two scores will be considered for the final ranking. Once the registration period ends, a correction window will be opened for a limited time to allow candidates to modify specific details in their forms.

Correction Window Opens February 27
After the application window closes, NTA will activate the form correction facility for Session 2 from February 27, 2026. During this period, registered candidates can log in to the official portal using their credentials and make changes to permitted fields only.
Students are encouraged to carefully review all information and make necessary corrections within the specified timeframe, as further opportunities for modification are generally not provided once the correction window closes.
