The Delhi Subordinate Services Selection Board has released the DSSSB DASS Grade 2 Notification 2026, announcing 911 vacancies for posts such as DASS Grade-II, Assistant Section Officer (ASO), and Legal Assistant. The detailed advertisement (No. 01/2026) was made available on February 20, 2026, at the official website.

The online registration process for DSSSB DASS Grade 2 Recruitment 2026 will begin on February 24, 2026, and conclude on March 25, 2026. Applications will be accepted only through online mode. These posts fall under Group-B categories in various departments of the Government of NCT of Delhi and are open to eligible graduate candidates.

Department-Wise Vacancy Details

Out of the total 911 vacancies:

• 576 posts are for Grade-II (GNCTDSS)/Assistant Section Officer in the Services Department.

• 180 Junior Engineer (Civil) posts are available in the Delhi Jal Board and 101 in the New Delhi Municipal Council.

• 32 Assistant Engineer (Civil) posts are in the Delhi Jal Board, and 1 post is in the Delhi Agricultural Marketing Board.

• Legal Assistant positions are distributed across the Delhi Pollution Control Committee, Delhi Urban Shelter Improvement Board, Department of Law, Justice and Legislative Affairs, and the Delhi Transport Corporation.

Category-wise distribution of vacancies is as follows:

• UR: 365

• OBC: 220

• SC: 140

• ST: 59

• EWS: 127

Total: 911 posts

Educational Qualification and Age Limit

Applicants must possess a bachelor’s degree in Arts, Science, Commerce, or Agriculture from a recognized university or institution. The prescribed age limit is 20 to 30 years.

For Legal Assistant roles, candidates must hold a Law degree from a recognized university. Experience requirements differ depending on the department. Some positions require three years of practice at the Bar, while others demand one or two years of legal experience, including work in a government department or public sector undertaking. For posts in the Delhi Transport Corporation, candidates must be registered with the Bar Council and have proficiency in Hindi.

Selection Procedure and Application Fee

The recruitment process consists of Tier 1 and Tier 2 computer-based examinations, followed by Document Verification and a Medical Examination. Certain posts may also require additional assessments such as Skill Tests, Endurance Tests, Driving Tests, or Trade Tests.

The application fee is Rs. 100 for candidates belonging to UR and OBC categories. However, women applicants and candidates from SC, ST, PwBD, and Ex-servicemen categories are exempt from paying the fee. Payment must be made online through SBI e-pay only.
