Eligibility Criteria

• Candidates who have completed Class 12 along with a three-year Diploma in General Nursing and Midwifery (GNM) must have at least two years of work experience after registration.

• Those who have passed Class 10 and hold a three-year GNM diploma must have a minimum of five years of work experience after registration.

• Male candidates or those who did not study midwifery during their GNM course must hold a certificate in a nursing programme approved by the Indian Nursing Council in place of midwifery training.

• First visit the IGNOU nursing admission official portal.

• Click on “New Registration” and sign up using a valid email ID and mobile number.

• Enter the required personal, academic, and professional information.

• Upload necessary documents such as educational certificates, nursing registration proof, and work experience certificates.

• Pay the application fee online and submit the completed form.

After submission, applicants should download and keep a copy of the application form for future reference.
