The Railway Recruitment Boards under the Ministry of Railways have released an official notice outlining the tentative dates for the Computer Based Test (CBT-I) for Non-Technical Popular Categories (Graduate) under CEN 06/2025. According to the announcement issued on February 13, 2026, the examination will take place from March 16 to March 27, 2026.

CBT-I Schedule and Vacancy Details
As per the notification, the first-stage Computer Based Test (CBT-I) for CEN 06/2025 will be conducted over multiple days between March 16 and March 27, 2026. The recruitment drive aims to fill 5,810 positions across various graduate-level posts.
The vacancies include roles such as Chief Commercial Cum Ticket Supervisor, Station Master, Goods Train Manager, Junior Accountant Assistant Cum Typist, Senior Clerk Cum Typist, and Traffic Assistant. Pay levels for these posts range from Level 4 to Level 6, depending on the designation.
Applicants must be aged between 18 and 33 years as of January 1, 2026. Relaxation in the upper age limit will be provided according to government regulations. A bachelor’s degree is mandatory for eligibility under the NTPC Graduate Level category.
Exam City Information and E-Call Letter
The link to check the exam city, date, and to download the Travel Authority for SC/ST candidates will be made available 10 days before the scheduled exam date on official RRB portals.
E-Call letters will be accessible four days prior to the candidate’s exam date, as mentioned in the city intimation notice. Candidates are advised to rely solely on official RRB websites for authentic updates regarding the recruitment process.

Biometric Verification and Aadhaar Guidelines
The notice also states that Aadhaar-based biometric authentication will be carried out at the exam centre before candidates are permitted to enter the examination hall. Applicants must bring their original Aadhaar card or a printed copy of their e-verified Aadhaar.
Candidates should ensure that their Aadhaar details are unlocked in the UIDAI database before arriving at the examination venue to avoid delays during verification.
The overall selection procedure includes CBT-I, CBT-II, a Computer Based Aptitude Test, a Typing Skill Test (where applicable), followed by document verification and a medical examination.
