The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has issued the ALP Exam City Intimation Slip 2026 on February 5, 2026. Candidates scheduled to appear for the Assistant Loco Pilot (ALP) examination can access and download the city slip from the official websites of their respective regional RRBs.

To download the exam city slip, candidates will need to enter their registration number and date of birth. The slip provides advance information about the exam city and is released prior to the admit card.

Candidates can follow the steps mentioned below:

• Visit the official website of the concerned regional RRB.

• Click on the RRB ALP Exam City Slip 2026 link available on the homepage.

• Enter the required login credentials on the new page.

• Submit the details to view the exam city information.

• Download the city intimation slip and save it.

• Take a printout for future reference.

The RRB ALP examination 2026 is scheduled to be conducted on February 13, 16, 17, and 18, 2026. The exam will be of 60 minutes duration and will consist of 75 objective-type questions carrying a total of 75 marks. A negative marking of one-third (1/3) mark will be applied for every incorrect response.

The minimum qualifying marks are 40% for UR and EWS candidates, 30% for OBC (NCL) and SC, and 25% for ST candidates. These qualifying standards also apply to Ex-Servicemen as per their respective categories.

The CBT-1 stage will be used only as a screening test to shortlist candidates for CBT-2. Shortlisting will be based on normalized scores and merit among candidates who have opted for the same RRB.

Through this recruitment drive, 9,970 Assistant Loco Pilot posts will be filled across the organisation. The application process for the recruitment was conducted from April 12 to May 11, 2025.
