Interested and eligible candidates can submit their applications through the official website. The entrance examination is scheduled to be held on May 9, 2026, in computer-based test (CBT) mode.

COMEDK UGET is conducted for admission to undergraduate engineering programmes offered by participating private institutions across Karnataka. Students who have completed Class 12 or are appearing in the qualifying examination can apply, provided they meet the prescribed eligibility conditions. The online application window for COMEDK UGET 2026 opened on February 3, 2026. Candidates must fill out and submit the application form online within the deadline specified in the official notification. The entire application process is conducted online.

To begin, candidates need to register using a valid email address and mobile number. After successful registration, applicants must enter personal and academic details, choose preferred exam centres, and upload scanned copies of a recent passport-size photograph and signature in the prescribed format. The application fee must be paid online using debit card, credit card, or net banking.

Before final submission, candidates should thoroughly check all the information entered in the form. Once submitted, changes will not be allowed except during the correction window, if provided by COMEDK.

Eligibility criteria for COMEDK UGET 2026

Applicants must have passed the Class 12 or equivalent examination from a recognised board. Physics and Mathematics are mandatory subjects. In addition, candidates must have studied at least one of the following subjects: Chemistry, Biotechnology, Biology, Computer Science, or Electronics.

General category candidates are required to secure a minimum of 45 per cent aggregate marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Candidates belonging to reserved categories of Karnataka must obtain at least 40 per cent aggregate marks in these subjects. There is no age limit for applying, and candidates from all over India are eligible to appear for the examination.

COMEDK UGET 2026 exam pattern

The COMEDK UGET 2026 will be conducted in computer-based mode with a total duration of three hours. The question paper will consist of 180 multiple-choice questions, with 60 questions each from Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics.
