The Tamil Nadu Teacher Recruitment Board (TNTRB) has announced the results of the Tamil Nadu Teacher Eligibility Test (TNTET) 2025 on its official website, trb.tn.gov.in. Candidates who appeared for the examination can now check their marks, qualifying status, and download the result PDF using their roll numbers.

The scorecards for TNTET Paper I and Paper II, which were conducted on November 15 and November 16, 2025, respectively, have been released. The results are available in PDF format and display each candidate’s qualifying status based on the final evaluation of OMR answer sheets.

TNTET 2025 Result Based on Final Answer Key

According to the official notification, the results have been prepared using the final answer key. Marks obtained by all candidates who appeared for TNTET 2025 have been published along with the final key. The result PDF clearly mentions whether a candidate is marked as “Qualified” or “Not Qualified.”

The board also stated that the revised and final answer keys were finalized after thorough review by subject experts. As per G.O.(MS) No.23, School Education (TRB) Department dated January 28, 2026, the decision of the experts regarding the final answer key is final and binding.

• First visit the official website

• Now click on the link on the homepage.

• Choose the relevant paper (Paper I or Paper II)

• The result PDF will appear on the screen

• Search for your roll number and download the PDF for future reference

TNTET 2025 Qualifying Marks

The qualifying marks for TNTET 2025 differ according to category:

• General category: 90 marks

• BC, BCM, MBC/DNC and Persons with Disabilities: 75 marks

• SC, SC(A) and ST: 60 marks

In percentage terms, candidates must secure 60% marks for General, 55% for reserved categories, and 40% for SC/ST candidates to qualify.

TNTET Eligibility Certificate

Candidates who meet the required qualifying criteria will be declared eligible and awarded the TNTET eligibility certificate. As per the latest update, the issuance of eligibility certificates is expected to begin from February 2.
