The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) has temporarily suspended the choice filling and locking process for NEET PG Counselling 2025 Round 3. Candidates can view the official notification on the MCC website.

As stated in the notice, the earlier announcement issued on January 29, 2026, regarding the completion of Round 3 choice filling has been withdrawn. MCC clarified that choice locking for Round 3 has been put on hold until further notice following information received from the National Medical Commission (NMC) about a matter currently pending before the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India.

Earlier, MCC had informed candidates that the Round 3 choice filling window would remain open until January 30, 2026, with the choice locking facility scheduled to be active from 6:00 PM on January 29 to 8:00 AM on January 30, 2026. This schedule has now been cancelled.

According to the previously revised timetable, the Round 3 choice filling process was originally planned to run from January 16 to January 26, 2026, while the choice locking window was set from 4:00 PM to 11:55 PM on January 26, 2026.

Meanwhile, MCC had recently updated the seat matrix for Round 3, with several institutes either adding or withdrawing seats. Seats marked for withdrawal will be removed from the Round 3 seat matrix prior to seat processing, while newly added seats have already been included. Candidates were allowed to fill choices for these updated seats before the process was halted.

Candidates are advised to regularly check the MCC official website for further updates regarding the resumption of the choice filling and locking process.
