Former BCCI President IS Bindra Dies at 84

Inderjit Singh Bindra, former president of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) and a towering figure in Indian cricket administration, passed away in New Delhi on Sunday evening. He was 84. According to reports, Bindra’s health declined suddenly after he fell unwell at his residence, and he died at around 6.30 pm. His last rites will be performed at the Lodhi crematorium in New Delhi on Monday.

Family sources said Bindra was at home when he began feeling unwell earlier in the afternoon. Despite prompt medical attention, his condition deteriorated rapidly. His son, Amar Bindra, and his daughter were present in Delhi at the time.
