The West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education (WBCHSE) has issued the WBCHSE Admit Card 2026 for Class 12 students appearing under the old syllabus. The hall tickets are meant for candidates taking the Semester IV Higher Secondary Examination as well as the Semester III Supplementary Examination.

As per the official announcement, all examination-related documents, including admit cards, were handed over to authorised schools on January 28, 2026. Students must collect their physical admit cards from their respective schools before the commencement of the examinations.

Admit cards available only through schools

WBCHSE has clearly stated that admit cards will not be available for direct download by students. Instead, the council has uploaded them exclusively on its official portal, wbchse.wb.gov.in, for access by school authorities. School principals or authorised administrators are responsible for downloading, printing, and distributing the hall tickets to eligible students.

The issued admit cards are strictly for students registered under the old syllabus, covering both Semester IV regular candidates and Semester III supplementary examinees.

Issuance aligned with exam material distribution

The council explained that the admit card release was synchronised with the distribution of examination materials to schools and exam centres. These materials were supplied through special distribution camps organised for authorised institutions. Accordingly, WBCHSE adjusted and confirmed the admit card release schedule to match this logistical process.

Online access to the hall tickets was enabled once the material distribution was completed, allowing schools to download them in a timely manner. Students are advised to contact their schools after the issuance to collect their admit cards.

How schools can download the admit cards

School authorities must visit the official WBCHSE website and log in through the School/Council Admin section using their allotted username and password. After successful login, the Class 12 admit cards will be displayed on the screen, from where they can be downloaded and printed.

Schools are expected to verify the details carefully and distribute the hall tickets promptly so that students can prepare for the examinations without delay.
