The National Council of Educational Research and Training (NCERT) has announced a recruitment drive to fill various Group A, Group B and Group C positions. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their applications online by visiting the official NCERT website.

The online application window will remain open until January 16, 2026, up to 11:55 PM. Applicants are advised to complete the registration process well before the deadline. Vacancy Details

• Group A: 9 posts

• Group B: 26 posts

• Group C: 138 posts

Eligibility Criteria

Candidates must meet the prescribed educational qualifications and age limits for the respective posts. The complete eligibility conditions are available in the detailed notification published on the official NCERT website.

Selection Process

The recruitment process will include a written examination, skill or proficiency test, trade test, and/or interview, depending on the nature of the post. Candidates will be assessed on their subject knowledge and job-related skills. Those who qualify the required tests will be shortlisted for interviews or document verification.

Application Fee

• Rs 1500 per post for Level 10–12 positions

• Rs 1200 per post for Level 6–7 positions

• Rs 1000 per post for Level 2–5 positions

The application fee must be paid online using a debit card, credit card, or net banking facility.
