The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has officially released the final result of the Constable (GD) Examination 2025. The recruitment drive was conducted to fill vacancies for Constable (GD) posts in the Central Armed Police Forces (CAPFs) and SSF, Rifleman (GD) in the Assam Rifles, and Sepoy positions in the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB). With this declaration, the extensive multi-stage selection process has now concluded.

Written Examination Details

The Computer-Based Examination (CBE) for SSC GD 2025 was held from February 4 to February 25, 2025. The results of the written test were released on June 17, 2025, following which 3,94,121 candidates were shortlisted for the next phase of selection. This included 40,213 female candidates and 3,53,908 male candidates, all of whom were called for the Physical Efficiency Test (PET) and Physical Standard Test (PST).

PET and PST Conducted by CAPFs

The PET and PST were conducted by various Central Armed Police Forces between August 20 and September 15, 2025. The entire process was overseen by the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF), which served as the nodal CAPF for this recruitment. The results of this stage were announced on October 13, 2025, allowing 95,575 candidates to advance further.

Medical Examination and Document Verification

Candidates who qualified the PET/PST were required to appear for the Detailed Medical Examination (DME), Document Verification (DV), and Review Medical Examination (RME) wherever applicable. These stages were conducted by the respective CAPFs under CRPF supervision. After evaluating candidates’ performance across all selection stages, SSC has now released the final merit list.

Selected candidates have been allocated to different forces based on their rank, availability of vacancies, and preferences submitted during the application process.

Reservation and Category Allocation Guidelines

SSC clarified that category allocation has been strictly carried out as per the choices filled by candidates in the online application form. Candidates belonging to SC, ST, or OBC categories who migrated from their original State or Union Territory were considered under their reserved category only if they opted to claim reservation from their State/UT of origin. Those who did not exercise this option were treated as Unreserved (UR) candidates in their State or UT of domicile, in line with the examination rules.

• First visit the official website.

• Click on the “Result” section on the homepage.

• Select the link titled SSC GD Constable Final Result 2025.

• Open the result PDF file.

• Use the search function to locate your roll number or name.

• Download and save the PDF for future reference.

Candidates may also access the result directly through the official result link provided by SSC.
