The National Testing Agency (NTA) has published the provisional answer key for the UGC NET December 2025 examination on January 14, 2026. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now access the answer key, their recorded responses, and the question papers through the official website. This facility allows applicants to cross-check their answers before the declaration of the final result.

The provisional answer key has been made available for examinations conducted on December 31, 2025, and January 2, 3, 5, 6, and 7, 2026. Along with the answer key, NTA has also uploaded subject-wise question papers and individual response sheets for all test-takers.

UGC NET December 2025 Answer Key: Objection Facility

Candidates who find any discrepancy in the provisional answer key can submit objections. The challenge window is open from January 14 to January 17, 2026, until 11:50 PM. Requests submitted after the deadline will not be accepted.

To raise a challenge, candidates must pay a non-refundable fee of ?200 per question. The payment can be completed online using debit card, credit card, net banking, or UPI. Challenges submitted without the payment will not be considered.

How to Check the Answer Key and Submit Objections

Follow these steps to review the answer key and raise objections:

• First visit the official website.

• Now click on “View Question Paper” to check your responses.

• Select “View/Challenge Answer Key”.

• Choose the question and the answer you wish to challenge.

• Upload supporting documents in one PDF file.

• Save the challenge and complete the fee payment.

All objections will be examined by subject experts. If any challenge is found valid, the answer key will be revised accordingly. The final result will be prepared based on the updated answer key. NTA will not notify candidates individually about the acceptance or rejection of their objections.
