The Science Olympiad Foundation (SOF) has officially declared the National Science Olympiad (NSO) Result for the academic session 2025–26. Students who appeared for the examination can view their results by visiting the official SOF website.
To access the result, students are required to provide details such as their name, email ID, mobile number, selected exam name, and roll number on the result login page.

Candidates can follow the steps given below to check their results:
First visit the official website.
Navigate to the ‘Results’ section on the homepage.
Click on ‘Read More’ under the NSO result link.
Enter the required login credentials.
Submit the details to view the result.

About the National Science Olympiad (NSO)
The National Science Olympiad is a yearly competitive examination conducted by SOF for students studying in Classes 1 to 12. The exam is designed to evaluate students’ understanding of scientific concepts, analytical thinking, and logical reasoning abilities.
The test generally includes multiple-choice questions and application-based problem-solving questions.
NSO Exam Levels
The NSO is conducted in two stages:
Level 1: Open to students from Classes 1 to 12 studying in SOF-affiliated schools.
Level 2: Open to students from Classes 3 to 12 who qualify based on their Level 1 performance.
The top 5% of students in each class at Level 1 are shortlisted to appear for the Level 2 examination.
Syllabus and Awards
The NSO syllabus for both levels covers a wide range of topics such as:
Metals and Non-metals
Carbon and its Compounds
Reproduction
Electricity
Magnetic Effects
Control and Coordination
Outstanding performers will be rewarded with scholarships, cash prizes, medals, and certificates at the international, zonal, and school levels. The top three international rank holders will receive special cash awards along with medals and certificates.
In addition, schools, principals, and teachers will also be honoured with awards, scholarships, appreciation certificates, and gifts at the international, regional, and district levels.
