The Bank of India (BOI) is set to conclude the online application process for the recruitment of Credit Officers today, January 5, 2026. Eligible candidates who have not yet applied can submit their applications through the official BOI website at bankofindia.bank.in.

This recruitment campaign aims to fill 514 Credit Officer posts under the General Banking Officer (GBO) stream across multiple management levels. The vacancies are open to experienced professionals with relevant banking and credit background.

Bank of India Credit Officer Vacancy Details

The total number of posts is distributed among the following scales:

• Senior Management Grade Scale-IV (SMGS-IV): 36 posts

• Middle Management Grade Scale-III (MMGS-III): 60 posts

• Middle Management Grade Scale-II (MMGS-II): 418 posts

Total Vacancies: 514

Reservations for SC, ST, OBC, EWS, and PwBD candidates will be provided in accordance with Government of India guidelines.

Eligibility Criteria for BOI Credit Officer Recruitment 2025-26

Educational Qualification

Applicants must hold a graduate degree from a recognised university. Candidates with professional qualifications such as CA, CFA, ICWA, or MBA / PGDBM in Banking or Finance will be given preference, depending on the scale and post applied for.

Age Limit (as on November 1, 2025)

• MMGS-II: 25 to 35 years

• MMGS-III: 28 to 38 years

• SMGS-IV: 30 to 40 years

Relaxation in the upper age limit is applicable for candidates belonging to reserved categories as per government norms.

Work Experience

• MMGS-II: Minimum 3 years of officer-level experience, including at least 2 years in MSME, commercial, or corporate credit

• MMGS-III & SMGS-IV: Between 5 to 8 years of relevant experience in banking and credit-related functions, as per the scale
