Description
The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened the online application process for the Common University Entrance Test (CUET UG) 2026. Eligible candidates seeking admission to undergraduate programmes can submit their applications through the CUET UG official website.
As per the official notification, the final date to complete the CUET UG 2026 application form is January 30, 2026. Candidates must ensure that the examination fee is paid by January 31, 2026, as applications without successful fee payment will not be considered. The application correction facility will be available from February 2 to February 4, 2026.
CUET UG 2026 Exam Schedule and Mode
The CUET UG 2026 examination is scheduled to be conducted from May 11 to May 31, 2026. The test will be held in 13 different languages across multiple examination centres in India and overseas. Each test paper will have a duration of 60 minutes. Depending on the number of applicants and subject combinations, the examination will be organised in multiple shifts.
Eligibility Criteria for CUET UG 2026
There is no upper age limit for appearing in the CUET UG 2026 examination. Candidates who have already passed the Class 12 or equivalent examination, as well as those who are appearing for the Class 12 examination in 2026, are eligible to apply.

The application fee for CUET UG 2026 varies by category and number of subjects:
General Category: Rs 1000 for up to 3 subjects; Rs 400 for each additional subject
OBC (NCL) / EWS: Rs 900 for up to 3 subjects; Rs 375 for each additional subject
SC / ST / PwD / PwBD / Third Gender: Rs 800 for up to 3 subjects; Rs 350 for each additional subject
