The Bihar Public Service Commission (BPSC) has released the results of the Assistant Section Officer (ASO) Preliminary Competitive Examination 2025. The outcome was published on December 23, 2025, on the Commission’s official website, bpsc.bihar.gov.in. The preliminary exam was held on September 10, 2025, under Advertisement No. 37/2025, for recruitment to 41 ASO posts in the Bihar state administration.

As per official figures, 60,517 candidates appeared for the preliminary examination, of whom 668 candidates have qualified for the next phase of the selection process.
