Description
The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS), New Delhi has declared the Round 1 seat allotment result for INI CET January 2026 on December 18, 2025. This marks a crucial phase in the admission process for postgraduate medical programmes including MD, MS, DM, M.Ch., and MDS offered by leading Institutes of National Importance such as AIIMS, JIPMER, PGIMER, NIMHANS, and SCTIMST.
Candidates who qualified the INI CET examination and completed the choice filling and locking process can now view their allotment status on the official website by logging in with their credentials. Those allotted seats must complete the next steps within the prescribed timeline to secure admission.
How to Check AIIMS INI CET Round 1 Seat Allotment Result
Candidates can follow the steps below to access their Round 1 allotment result:
First visit the official examination website.
Click on the “Academic Courses” section and select INI CET.
Open the link titled Round 1 Seat Allotment Result – January 2026.
Log in using your roll number, registration ID, and password.
View the allotted course and institute, if applicable.
Download and save the result for future reference.
The allotment list contains details such as the candidate’s roll number, assigned institute, course name, and reservation category.

What to Do After Seat Allotment
Candidates who receive a seat in Round 1 must take action between December 19 and December 24, 2025. They can choose one of the following options:
Accept the allotted seat and exit the counselling process, or
Accept the seat and opt for Round 2 to be considered for a possible upgrade
To confirm admission, candidates must log in to the counselling portal, formally accept the seat online, pay the applicable fees, and report to the allotted institute within the given deadline. Failure to complete these steps may result in cancellation of the allotted seat.
Documents Required at the Time of Reporting
Candidates must carry original documents for verification at the reporting institute, including:
INI CET admit card
Seat allotment result printout
MBBS degree certificate
Mark sheets
Internship completion certificate
Valid photo identity proof
Category certificate (if applicable)
Admission will be finalised only after successful document verification.
Next Stages in INI CET Counselling
Following the completion of Round 1, Round 2 seat allotment will be conducted, with results expected in January 2026. Candidates who did not receive a seat in the first round or wish to upgrade their allotment can participate in the next round. As per the counselling schedule released by AIIMS, further rounds including an open round may be held if seats remain vacant.
