Description
The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has opened the application window for the UPSC NDA & NA (I) Examination 2026. Candidates interested in applying for the National Defence Academy and Naval Academy Examination (I), 2026, can access the online registration link through the UPSC official website.
The application process will remain active until December 30, 2025. Through this recruitment drive, a total of 394 vacancies will be filled. Key details regarding eligibility, vacancies, and fees are provided below.
Vacancy Details
National Defence Academy (NDA): 270 posts
Naval Academy (NA): 24 posts
Eligibility Criteria
Army Wing of NDA:
Candidates must have passed Class 12 under the 10+2 system or an equivalent examination conducted by a State Education Board or University.
Air Force & Naval Wings of NDA and 10+2 Cadet Entry Scheme at INA:
Applicants should have completed Class 12 with Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics (PCM) under the 10+2 system or an equivalent exam conducted by a State Board or University.
Candidates currently appearing for their Class 12 exam under the 10+2 scheme are also eligible to apply.
Application Fee
The application fee is Rs 100.
The following candidates are exempted from paying the fee:
SC/ST candidates
Female candidates
Wards of JCOs/NCOs/ORs
Payment can be made through Visa/Master/RuPay Debit/Credit Cards, UPI, or internet banking.
