Description
The Railway Recruitment Cell, Northern Railway (RRC NR), has issued its official notification for the engagement of 4,116 apprentices across various Divisions, Units, and Workshops. Eligible candidates can submit their applications online through the official portal once the registration process begins.
RRC NR has clarified that completing apprenticeship training does not guarantee a job in the Railways. Therefore, applicants must read the notification thoroughly and verify their eligibility before applying. Online application closes: 24 December 2025 (23:59 hrs)

Eligibility Criteria
Only candidates who fulfil the academic and age requirements will be considered.
Educational Qualification
Applicants must have passed Class 10 / Matriculation / SSC (10+2 system) with at least 50% marks from a recognised board.
They must also hold an ITI certificate in the relevant trade issued by NCVT or SCVT.
Candidates awaiting results of Class 10 or ITI are not eligible to apply.
Age Limit
Minimum age: 15 years
Maximum age: 24 years
Age Relaxation
SC / ST: 5 years
OBC: 3 years
Persons with Benchmark Disabilities: 10 years
Ex-Servicemen: Up to 10 years (as per notification rules)
Candidates claiming reservation benefits must produce valid supporting documents during verification.
Application Fee
Rs 100 (online payment only)
No fee for SC, ST, PwBD, or Women candidates
Payments made via offline modes such as cash, DD, or money order will not be accepted.
Selection Process
The recruitment does not include any exam or interview.
Selection will be based purely on a merit list, which will be prepared by averaging:
Marks obtained in Class 10 (minimum 50% required)
ITI trade marks
If marks are provided in grades, their midpoint values will be used for calculating the percentage.
