The All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) has declared the results for the INI CET January 2026 session. The roll number–wise merit list, including candidates’ ranks and percentile scores, is now available on the official website. According to AIIMS, the results have been prepared based on the details submitted by candidates in their online applications, without verifying eligibility criteria, category certificates, sponsorship documents, and other supporting records.
AIIMS has also informed that the percentile scores of both qualified and non-qualified candidates can be accessed through the ‘MyPage’ portal on the exam website.
INI CET January 2026: Qualifying Percentile
The INI CET for the January 2026 session was conducted on November 9 in a Computer-Based Test (CBT) format. This examination serves as the gateway for admissions into postgraduate medical programs MD, MS, DM (6 years), MCh (6 years) and MDS — at leading Institutes of National Importance (INIs), including:
AIIMS New Delhi and other AIIMS
JIPMER, Puducherry
PGIMER, Chandigarh
NIMHANS, Bengaluru
SCTIMST, Thiruvananthapuram
Tie-Breaking Criteria
When two or more candidates obtained the same marks, the tie was settled based on the following rules:
Candidates with lower negative marks were given preference.
If still tied, the older candidate was ranked higher.
Result Status And Next Steps
AIIMS stated that the INI CET January 2026 result is provisional. Final selection will depend on candidates meeting the eligibility conditions mentioned in the prospectus and advertisement, as well as successful verification of original documents.
