Nine-year-old Arshi Gupta has created history in Indian motorsport by clinching the 2025 FMSCI National Karting Championship (Rotax) in the Micro Max category at Meco Kartopia, Bengaluru. Competing against racers aged 8–12, the Delhi Public School, Faridabad student made her mark by becoming the first Indian girl and the youngest-ever champion in the 21-year history of the Rotax series—an extraordinary feat in only her second racing season.

Representing Leapfrog Racing, Arshi born on 18 October 2016 in Faridabad rose through the ranks with remarkable consistency. Her campaign gained momentum with a victory in Round 3 at the Madras International Karting Arena in August 2025, followed by strong performances in Coimbatore. During the Bengaluru finale, she surged from mid-grid to win the Pre-Final, then confidently led from pole position in the Final, securing her national title in style.
