The Indian Institute of Technology (IIT) Guwahati has extended the GATE 2026 application correction window till November 10, 2025. Candidates who wish to modify their application details can do so by visiting the official GATE website.
GATE 2026: Steps To Edit Application Form
Candidates who need to make corrections in their GATE 2026 application form can follow the steps below:
First visit the official website.
Log in using your enrollment ID and password.
The application form will appear on the screen.
Review the details carefully and make the necessary corrections.
Click on Submit after completing the changes.
Download and print the confirmation page for future reference.

GATE 2026 Exam Schedule And Details
The GATE 2026 examination will be conducted on February 7, 8, 14, and 15, 2026. Each paper will have a duration of three hours (four hours for candidates with compensatory time) and will include 65 questions carrying a total of 100 marks.
After the allotted time ends, the test will automatically conclude. The GATE 2026 Admit Card will be released in January 2026, and candidates must carry a printed copy of the admit card (A4 size) along with a valid original photo ID for verification. The admit card will be considered valid only if the candidate’s photograph and signature are clear.
