The National Testing Agency (NTA) has officially begun the registration process for JEE Main 2026 Session 1. Eligible candidates can apply for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2026 Session 1 through the official website. The last date to submit the application form is November 27, 2025, while details regarding the exam city will be announced in the first week of January 2026.
The Session 1 examination is scheduled to take place from January 21 to January 30, 2026, and will be conducted in 13 languages — English, Hindi, Assamese, Bengali, Gujarati, Kannada, Malayalam, Marathi, Odia, Punjabi, Tamil, Telugu, and Urdu.
Applicants may choose to appear only for Session 1 (January 2026) and pay the examination fee accordingly. A separate application window will be opened later for Session 2 (April 2026), where candidates can apply using the same Application Number (if they have registered for Session 1) and pay the fee at that time. Those interested only in Session 2 will be able to register and pay the fee when the application form becomes available for that session.
