The Border Security Force (BSF) has officially opened applications for the recruitment of Constable (General Duty) in Group C under the Sports Quota starting Thursday, October 16, 2025. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their applications through the official BSF recruitment portal until November 4, 2025, 11:59 PM. The recruitment is initially temporary, with the possibility of becoming permanent, and is exclusively for meritorious sportspersons who are medal winners, position holders, or participants in recognised sporting events.

Eligibility Criteria

• Educational Qualification: Candidates must have passed Matriculation (10th standard) or an equivalent qualification from a recognized board.

• Age Limit: Applicants should be between 18 and 23 years, with age relaxation provided as per BSF Recruitment Rules.

• Sports Qualification: Candidates must meet the specific sports eligibility criteria detailed in the official BSF notification.

Application Fee

• General (UR) and OBC Male Candidates: Rs 159 (including online processing fee).

• Exemptions: Female candidates and candidates belonging to Scheduled Castes (SC) and Scheduled Tribes (ST) do not need to pay any fee.

• Mode of Payment: The fee must be paid online only. Applications with fees submitted through any other mode will be rejected.
