South Eastern Coalfields Limited (SECL) has announced a recruitment drive for the position of Assistant Foreman, with a total of 543 vacancies to be filled. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their applications online through SECL’s official website.

The application window will be open from October 16 to November 9, 2025.

Vacancy Details & Eligibility

Assistant Foreman (Electrical) – T&S, Grade-C (Trainee):

• Educational Qualification: A 3-year Diploma in Electrical Engineering from an AICTE-recognized institution.

• Candidates with a Degree in Electrical & Electronics Engineering are also eligible.

Assistant Foreman (Electrical) – T&S, Grade-C:

• Candidates with or without a diploma are eligible, provided they possess a valid supervisory certificate for working as an Electrical Supervisor in Mines (with Mining Part) under the Indian Electricity Rules.

Selection Process

The recruitment will be conducted through a written examination, which will carry a total of 100 marks. Each question will be worth 1 mark, and the paper will be structured into three sections:

• Mental Ability/Quantitative Aptitude & Logical Reasoning

• General Awareness and Knowledge about CIL/SECL

• Subject-Specific Knowledge
