The National Testing Agency (NTA) has released the exam dates for the UGC NET December 2025 session. Candidates planning to appear for the University Grants Commission National Eligibility Test (UGC NET) can view the official notice on the NTA website.

As per the schedule, the UGC NET December 2025 examination will be conducted from December 31, 2025, to January 7, 2026, in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode across various exam centres in the country.

Exam Pattern And Duration

The test will include two papers, both consisting of objective-type multiple-choice questions. There will be no break between the two papers. The exam will be held for a total duration of three hours (180 minutes) and will carry 300 marks with a total of 150 questions.

Registration And Fee Details

The registration process for UGC NET December 2025 is currently active, and the last date to apply online is November 7, 2025. The last date for payment of the examination fee is also November 7, 2025.
The application correction window will be open from November 10 to November 12, 2025.

Application Fee:

• General (Unreserved): Rs 1150

• General-EWS/OBC-NCL: Rs 600

• SC/ST/PwD/Third Gender: Rs 325

Candidates can pay the examination fee online through debit/credit card, internet banking, or UPI.

• Download and save a copy for future reference.
