Description
The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has cancelled the NEET PG 2025 results of 22 candidates, releasing an official list of those affected. The scorecards of these candidates stand invalid, and using them for any purpose such as admission, registration, employment, or higher education will be considered unlawful.
According to the Board, the results of 21 candidates were cancelled by the NBEMS Examination Ethics Committee for using unfair means during the exam. The result of one candidate was annulled following the disposal of Writ Petition No. 5785 of 2025 by the High Court of Karnataka.
The NEET PG 2025 examination was held on August 3, 2025, in a single shift across 301 cities and 1,052 test centres, with over 2.42 lakh candidates appearing in computer-based mode. To maintain integrity and prevent malpractice, NBEMS implemented strict security protocols and engaged more than 2,200 faculty members from medical institutions nationwide.
The results were officially announced on August 19, 2025, with the following cut-off scores:
Open Category: 276
PwD Category: 255
SC/ST/OBC and PwD (SC/ST/OBC): 235
Meanwhile, the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) is yet to publish the counselling schedule for NEET PG 2025. Candidates are advised to regularly visit the NBEMS official website for updates and further information.
