The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) will close the registration window for filling the List of Candidates (LOC) form for the CBSE Board Exam 2026 on October 8, 2025. The LOC submission facility is available to schools and principals through the official website.

Schools submitting the LOC after the regular deadline must pay a late fee, and the payment window will remain open till October 11, 2025.

CBSE has instructed all school heads to complete and submit the LOC forms within the stipulated period, even with a late fee. Schools failing to meet the final submission date will be held responsible for non-compliance, which may lead to the disqualification of their students from appearing in the 2026 Board Examinations.

Steps To Fill CBSE LOC Form 2026

• First visit the official website.

• Now click on the link on the homepage.

• From the dropdown menu, select the ‘LOC’ option.

• Register online and fill in the required details.

• Pay the late fee and click on Submit.

• Download the confirmation page once the submission is successful.

• Take a printout for school records and future reference.

CBSE Board Exam 2026 Schedule

CBSE has already released the tentative datesheet for the upcoming Class 10 and 12 Board Exams 2026:

• Exams Begin: February 17, 2026

• Class 10 Ends: March 9, 2026

• Class 12 Ends: April 9, 2026

Most exams will be conducted from 10:30 AM to 1:30 PM, while certain papers will conclude at 12:30 PM.

Exam Overview

For the 2026 session, around 45 lakh students are expected to appear across 204 subjects for Classes 10 and 12, including candidates from India and 26 countries abroad.
