The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has issued the admit card for the Odisha Civil Services (OCS) Preliminary Examination 2024. Candidates scheduled to appear for the exam can download their hall tickets from the official OPSC website.

The OCS Preliminary Examination 2024 is set to take place on October 12, 2025, across six examination zones Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Balasore, Berhampur, Jeypore, and Sambalpur. The test will be held in two sessions: the first shift from 10:00 AM to 12:00 noon, and the second shift from 1:30 PM to 3:30 PM. Candidates under the PwD category will receive an additional 40 minutes per session, making their exam duration 10:00 AM to 12:40 PM and 1:30 PM to 4:10 PM.

The prelims will include two compulsory objective-type papers, each carrying 200 marks. Both papers will feature multiple-choice questions (MCQs). There will be negative marking for every incorrect answer, one-third (0.33) of the marks allotted to that question will be deducted. In certain questions, negative marking may be built into the grading structure, where varying marks are awarded based on the accuracy of the selected option.
