Description
The Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS) has released the Probationary Officer (PO) Preliminary Exam Result 2025 on Friday, September 26, 2025. Candidates who appeared for the exam can now access and download their results from the official IBPS website. To view their results, candidates need to log in using their Registration Number or Roll Number along with Password and Date of Birth.
Exam Overview
The IBPS PO Prelims 2025 was conducted on August 17, 23, and 24, 2025, as per the official calendar. The exam comprised 100 questions worth 100 marks, spread across three sections. Candidates had to meet the category-wise cut-off marks in each section to qualify. A sufficient number of candidates from each category, determined by IBPS based on requirements, will be shortlisted for the Online Main Examination.
Negative Marking
For every incorrect answer, 0.25 marks were deducted from the total score as a penalty. This system ensures accuracy in evaluating candidates’ performance.
