Description
The Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) has published the short notification for NTPC (Non-Technical Popular Categories) Recruitment 2025-26, declaring 8,875 vacancies across different zones of Indian Railways. Undergraduate posts: 18–30 years
Graduate posts: 18–33 years
Relaxations: As per government norms for SC, ST, OBC, PwD, and Ex-Servicemen.
Selection Process
The recruitment procedure will involve multiple stages:
Computer-Based Test (CBT-1) – Screening examination with 100 questions (General Awareness – 40, Mathematics – 30, General Intelligence & Reasoning – 30), duration 90 minutes.
Computer-Based Test (CBT-2) – Post-specific test with 120 questions (General Awareness – 50, Mathematics – 35, General Intelligence & Reasoning – 35), duration 90 minutes.
Negative Marking: 0.25 marks deduction for each wrong answer.
Skill Test / Typing Test / Aptitude Test (where applicable).
Document Verification & Medical Examination.
