Description
The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has published the revised schedule for KCET 2025 Round 2 Counselling on its official website.
A notification on the website clearly states: “UGCET-2025 - 2nd Round - CHOICE selection link will remain open till 11:30 PM on September 3, 2025. (No further extension). Candidates are advised to carefully understand the implications of each CHOICE before selecting. Those who fail to make a selection will not be eligible for the 3rd round.”
Key Dates For Round 2 Counselling (Revised)
Fee payment for Choice 1 and Choice 2 candidates: Up to September 3, 2025
Caution deposit of ?10,000 for Choice 3 candidates: Up to September 3, 2025
Downloading of confirmation slip (Choice 1 candidates): Till September 4, 2025 (5:30 PM)
Last date for reporting to allotted colleges (Choice 1 candidates): Till September 4, 2025 (6:30 PM)
KEA has stressed that candidates must adhere to the revised deadlines and ensure they carry all required documents while reporting for admissions to avoid inconvenience.
Important Instructions From KEA
For the third round of counselling, no further choice options will be available after the seat allotment results.
Candidates allotted a seat in the 3rd round must pay the applicable fees (if not already paid) and report compulsorily to the allotted college. Seats will be assigned strictly on the basis of rank/merit and option priority.
Those who fail to report after Round 2 allotments may face legal action and will be barred from applying for the same course for the next three years, KEA has cautioned.
Earlier, KEA had declared the final allotment results for Round 2 of UGCET covering courses such as Engineering, Architecture, Agricultural Sciences, Veterinary Sciences, Yoga and Naturopathy, AYUSH and related disciplines.
