Description
The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has announced the postponement of the Chartered Accountants (CA) Final and Intermediate Examinations scheduled for 3rd and 4th September 2025 at select centres in Punjab and Jammu City. The notification, issued on 2nd September 2025, serves as a partial amendment to the earlier announcement dated 30th May 2025.
Reason For Postponement
The Institute took this decision due to continuous heavy rainfall and severe flooding in several regions of Punjab and Jammu. The adverse weather has disrupted day-to-day life and created significant challenges in ensuring smooth conduct of the examinations.
Affected Examination Centres
The rescheduling is restricted to certain locations and does not affect all centres. The impacted cities include:
Amritsar
Bathinda
Jalandhar
Ludhiana
Mandi Gobindgarh
Pathankot
Patiala
Sangrur
Jammu City
Revised Dates
ICAI has informed that the new examination dates will be released shortly. Candidates are advised to keep visiting the official website for timely updates.
What Remains Unchanged
The Institute clarified that all other instructions and details mentioned in its earlier notification dated 30th May 2025 remain valid. Only the examination dates at the above-mentioned centres have been modified.
