The Bihar Staff Selection Commission (BSSC) has announced applications for 3,727 Office Attendant posts. Interested and eligible candidates can submit their applications online via the official BSSC portal. Eligibility Criteria

Educational Qualification

Applicants must have passed 10th (Matriculation) or an equivalent examination from a recognized board or institution by the final submission date of the online application.

Age Limit

Age will be calculated as on August 1, 2026. The age criteria are as follows:

• Minimum Age: 18 years (all categories)

• Maximum Age:

  • Unreserved Male: 37 years

  • Unreserved Female: 40 years

  • Backward Class Male & Female: 40 years

  • Scheduled Caste (SC) / Scheduled Tribe (ST) Male & Female: 42 years

  • PwBD Candidates: Additional 10 years of age relaxation over the category-specific maximum

Examination Pattern

The written exam for Office Attendant recruitment will include three objective papers:

• General Mathematics

• General Knowledge

• General Hindi

• Total Questions: 100

• Marks per Correct Answer: 4

• Negative Marking: 1 mark deducted for each wrong answer

• Exam Duration: 2 hours
