Description
The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has officially announced the date for the Odisha Civil Services (OCS) Preliminary Examination 2024. As per the notification issued under Advertisement No. 07 of 2024-25, the prelims will be held on October 12, 2025 (Sunday).
The commission stated that a detailed timetable, exam centre information, and specific instructions for candidates will be published shortly on the official OPSC website. Aspirants are advised to check the site regularly for the latest updates.
The recruitment notification for the Odisha Civil Services Examination 2024 was earlier released on May 15, 2025.
OCS 2023 Document Verification And Personality Test
Alongside this update, OPSC has also released the schedule for Document Verification (DV) and Personality Test for candidates of the Odisha Civil Services Examination 2023, conducted under Advertisement No. 20 of 2023-24.
DV & Personality Test Dates: September 6–18, 2025 (excluding September 13)
Venue: OPSC Office, 19, Dr. P.K. Parija Road, Cuttack – 753001
Total Candidates: 806 provisionally qualified candidates, including 293 women
The commission has instructed candidates to carry their original certificates along with self-attested photocopies for the verification process. Failure to produce the required documents will result in cancellation of candidature.
The official notification also provides a detailed list of required documents, along with roll numbers and session-wise schedules of shortlisted candidates. Applicants are strongly encouraged to check the notice on the OPSC official website for complete details.
