The Ministry of Home Affairs (MHA) has announced the appointment of senior Indian Police Service (IPS) officer Satish Golcha as the new Commissioner of Police, Delhi. A 1992-batch IPS officer from the Arunachal Pradesh-Goa-Mizoram and Union Territories (AGMUT) cadre, Golcha steps into the role after the retirement of Sanjay Arora on August 1, 2025. During the interim, Shashi Bhushan Kumar Singh briefly held the charge.
