The National Board of Examinations in Medical Sciences (NBEMS) has released the NEET PG 2025 results on Tuesday. Candidates who appeared for the exam can access their scores through the official websites.
Category-wise Cutoff Scores:
General (Open): 276 marks
PWD (Open): 255 marks
SC/ST/OBC (including PWD): 235 marks
The NEET-PG 2025 exam was conducted on August 3, 2025, in a single shift across 301 cities and 1,052 test centres, with over 2.42 lakh candidates appearing in computer-based mode. To maintain a smooth and secure examination process, NBEMS deployed more than 2,200 faculty members from various medical colleges and hospitals and implemented strict anti-malpractice measures.
NEET-PG serves as the eligibility-cum-ranking examination for admission to MD, MS, and PG Diploma courses for the 2025-26 academic year. It is also used for entry into Post-MBBS DNB courses, Direct 6-year DrNB programmes, and NBEMS diploma courses.

Mode: Computer-based
Total Questions: 200 multiple-choice questions (English)
Options: Four per question, choose the most appropriate answer
Duration: 3 hours 30 minutes
Marking Scheme: 25% negative marking for incorrect answers; no penalty for unattempted questions
Role Of NBEMS
NBEMS is responsible for conducting the examination and declaring results. The board does not participate in counselling or seat allocation, which is managed by designated authorities. Verification of documents and candidate eligibility occurs during counselling/admission.
