The West Bengal Medical Counselling Committee (WBMCC) has released the updated provisional state merit list for NEET UG 2025 counselling under the 85% state quota. As per the official data, 11,178 candidates have been declared eligible to participate in the first round of choice filling for MBBS and BDS admissions in both government and private medical colleges across the state.
Alongside the merit list, the WBMCC has also issued the seat matrix for the 2025–26 academic session, confirming a total of 5,589 seats in MBBS and BDS programmes.

The choice filling process has already started and will remain active until midnight of August 17, 2025. Candidates are advised to arrange and lock their preferences carefully, as no edits or changes will be allowed once the choices are submitted.

Seat allotment results: August 20, 2025
College reporting and admission: August 21 to 23, 2025 (between 11 AM and 4 PM)
Round 2 registration: Begins on August 27, 2025, for candidates not satisfied with the first allotment or those who missed initial registration.
