The Staff Selection Commission (SSC) has published the tentative vacancy list for the Combined Hindi Translators (CHT) Examination 2025. Aspiring candidates can now check the vacancy details by visiting the official SSC official website. This recruitment drive aims to fill 437 posts of Hindi Translators across various central government departments, ministries, and organizations.

Exam Schedule And Selection Process

The Computer-Based Test (CBT) for Paper-I is scheduled to take place on August 12, 2025.
The selection process involves two stages:

  • Paper-I: Objective type multiple-choice questions.

  • Paper-II: Descriptive paper, for candidates shortlisted based on Paper-I performance.

Note: There is a negative marking of 0.25 marks for every incorrect answer in Paper-I.

Steps To Check SSC CHT 2025 Vacancy List

Follow the steps below to view the tentative vacancies:

  • First visit the SSC official website.

  • Now click on the link Tentative Vacancies.

  • A PDF file containing the vacancy details will open.

  • Download and save the PDF for reference.

Application And Correction Window

  • Online applications were accepted from June 5 to June 26, 2025.

  • The application correction window was available from July 1 to July 2, 2025.

For further information and updates regarding the exam, candidates are advised to visit the SSC official website  regularly.
