Backed by the Government of India’s Monsoon Mission III, the initiative merges advanced technology with local agricultural needs to create tailored, actionable guidance.
About AI-Powered Agromet Advisory
This innovative system utilises Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Machine Learning (ML) to produce location-specific insights for farmers.
Provides hyper-local weather forecasts and crop management advice.
Considers multiple factors like crop variety, soil type, location, and even farmers’ socio-economic conditions.
By delivering customised recommendations, it helps farmers make smarter choices regarding sowing, irrigation, fertilisation, and harvesting.

The service combines:
Real-time data from the India Meteorological Department (IMD)
Satellite observations for improved accuracy
AI and ML algorithms process this information to forecast weather changes and assess their impact on crops. The system updates constantly, ensuring that advisories remain relevant and accurate as conditions shift.

Pilot Phase
