The Karnataka Examinations Authority (KEA) has initiated the process for choice entry, fee payment, and confirmation slip download for KCET Counselling 2025 following the announcement of the Round 1 seat allotment results. Candidates who have been allotted engineering seats can access the link via the official website cetonline.
In its notice, KEA clarified that candidates who submitted their choices in the first round but did not receive any seat allotment will not be able to make new choices. However, they can participate in the second round of allotment using their already entered options provided they log in to the portal and select the consent form.
Key Points On Exercising Choices
Choice 1: Candidates satisfied with their allotted seat must select this option on the KEA portal.
Choice 2: If a candidate accepts the allotted seat but wants to be considered for an upgrade in the next round, they must select this option.
Choice 3: Candidates who are not satisfied with the seat allotted in Round 1 but still wish to participate in the next round (by surrendering the current seat) should opt for this choice.
Choice 4: If a candidate is neither happy with the allotted seat nor wishes to continue in further rounds, they should select this choice.
KEA has made it mandatory for all eligible candidates to participate in the second round within the given timeline. If a candidate fails to log in to the portal or does not provide consent, they will be treated as not interested in further rounds, and both their Round 1 options and allotment will be cancelled.
