The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has published the Sample Question Papers (SQPs) and Marking Schemes (MS) for Classes 10 and 12 for the 2025–26 academic session. These resources are now accessible on the official CBSE Academic website. The board has also confirmed that the assessment pattern will remain unchanged for this academic year.
In its circular, CBSE highlighted: “The Board issues Sample Question Papers (SQPs) and Marking Schemes (MS) for classes X and XII to provide a broad framework and serve as a guide for ensuring uniformity and comprehensive coverage of the curriculum.”
The notice further emphasized that these SQPs are not only intended for exam readiness but are also valuable teaching tools for applying concepts in real-life situations. Teachers have been urged to incorporate them into their lesson planning and classroom activities.
CBSE has confirmed that the evaluation system will follow the same format as the 2024–25 academic session, providing continuity for students and educators, and aiding in structured preparation.
