Description
The Jharkhand Public Service Commission (JPSC) has officially released the final results of the Combined Civil Services Examination 2023. Candidates who appeared in the recruitment process can now view their results on the JPSC official website. A direct result link is also available for easy access.
The published result includes the names, application numbers, category details, and services allotted to the successful candidates. This recruitment process aimed to fill 342 vacancies across multiple state government services.
Eligibility Criteria And Exam Process
To participate in the exam, candidates were required to hold a bachelor's degree from a recognized university or institution. The age limit for applicants was set between 21 and 35 years, with applicable age relaxations provided to candidates from reserved categories in accordance with government norms.
The selection process was divided into two key stages:
Preliminary Examination
Main Examination, which included a written test and a personal interview.
Candidates needed to score a minimum of 40% in the Prelims to qualify for the Mains. However, this cutoff was relaxed for candidates belonging to SC, ST, and other reserved categories.
It is important to note that marks from Paper 1 (General Hindi and General English) in the Main exam were not counted toward the final merit list, as the paper served only as a qualifying component.
