Counselling Schedule And Process

The NEET UG counselling for 2025 began on July 21, 2025, and will be conducted in three main rounds, followed by a stray vacancy round to fill any remaining seats. The counselling process is centrally administered by the MCC and covers multiple medical institutions under various quotas.

Seats Covered Under NEET UG Counselling 2025

This year's NEET UG counselling process includes admissions for the following categories:

  • 15% All India Quota (AIQ) seats for MBBS and BDS across various states and union territories (Note: Jammu & Kashmir’s participation is subject to their seat contribution).

  • 100% MBBS and BDS seats at Banaras Hindu University (BHU).

  • All India Institute of Medical Sciences (AIIMS) campuses across India (100% seats).

  • Jawaharlal Institute of Postgraduate Medical Education and Research (JIPMER) campuses at Puducherry and Karaikal (100% seats).

  • 100% MBBS/BDS seats of Aligarh Muslim University (AMU).

  • 85% of state quota seats from Delhi University (DU), Indraprastha University (GGSIPU), including VMMC, ABVIMS, and ESIC Dental College.

  • 100% seats at the Faculty of Dentistry, Jamia Millia Islamia (JMI), with 5% internal quota for Jamia students.

  • 15% Insured Person (IP) quota seats offered by Employees’ State Insurance Corporation (ESIC).
