Description
The Railway Recruitment Boards (RRBs) have officially released the CBT 2 results for the Junior Engineer (JE), Depot Material Superintendent (DMS), Chemical and Metallurgical Assistant (CMA), Chemical Supervisor (CS), and Metallurgical Supervisor (MS) posts under the Centralized Employment Notification (CEN) No. 03/2024. The examination for the remaining 12 RRB regions was conducted on June 4, 2025, and the results are now available on the respective RRB websites.
Earlier And Latest Result Updates
The results for nine RRBs, where the CBT 2 was held on April 22, 2025, were declared earlier on July 2, 2025. The newly declared results cover the following RRBs:

Muzaffarpur
Patna

Candidates can check their individual scorecards using their Registration Number and Date of Birth by logging into the relevant RRB portal.
Provisional Shortlisting For DV And Medical Examination
Candidates who meet the community-wise qualifying marks have been provisionally shortlisted for Document Verification (DV) and Medical Examination (ME). The shortlisting is based on:
Performance in CBT 2
Post preferences filled by candidates
Merit Index, as per Para 14.2 of the notification
The scaled score out of 100 for single-session exam groups was used in the merit calculation. Only candidates who achieved or exceeded their community qualifying marks have been included in the DV list.
Guidelines For Merged Categories
As outlined in Para 1.12(b) of the notification, candidates selected for DV must choose their preferences for merged post categories listed in Annexure A(I). If no preference is submitted before DV, the RRB will allot posts based on merit and post availability.
DV And Medical Examination Process
DV schedule and venue details will be sent via SMS, email, and official RRB announcements.
Candidates must download e-call letters to attend DV, which will include the date, session (FN/AN), and other instructions.
Post-DV, candidates must undergo a mandatory medical check-up at designated railway hospitals or health units.
Candidates should carry: Original documents, Two sets of A4-sized photocopies as mentioned in the notification
A medical fee of Rupees 24 is to be paid at the hospital. Any additional tests (e.g., CT scans or refractive surgery exams) may require payment to external labs.
Important Instructions For Candidates
Candidature is provisional and subject to verification at every stage.
The shortlisted roll numbers are arranged in ascending order, not by merit.
Final selection is purely merit-based, processed through a computerized system.
Candidates should avoid falling prey to fraudulent agents or touts. All recruitment updates and processes are carried out only through official RRB portals.
