The Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) has released the Combined Competitive Examination (CCE) Preliminary Result 2025 on July 17. The Preliminary Exam, which was conducted on June 8, serves as a crucial step for candidates aspiring to join various administrative services under the Government of Assam. The roll numbers of qualified candidates have been published in a merit list PDF available on the official website.
Qualified candidates will now move forward to the Main Examination, tentatively scheduled for October 2025.

Candidates who have cleared the Prelims must now prepare for the Mains Examination, expected to be held in October 2025. The Mains will consist of:
One Essay Paper
Four General Studies Papers
Two Papers on an Optional Subject (as chosen by the candidate)
After the Mains, shortlisted candidates will be invited for a Personal Interview.
Detailed Application Form (DAF) Submission
Before appearing for the Mains, all qualified candidates are required to submit the Detailed Application Form (DAF). The DAF will include:
Personal and academic information
Employment details
Supporting documents such as certificates, a recent photograph, and ID proof
